This years club championships are based on the best 7 results from 8 possible championship rounds for each competitor.

Points will be awarded on the following basis.:-

There will be two distinct and separate classes, each with their own championship.

Those classes are:-

Open Class

Open to any 2 or 4 stroke  50cc machine conforming to the 2017 Classic 50 Club rules.

Air cooled  Class

Restricted  2 or 4 stroke  air cooled 50cc machines conforming to the 2017 Classic 50 Club rules.

The Club and A.C.U. Championships 2017

ATTENTION ! Competitors Please Note:-

At 2 day ( whole weekend )events the club championship race will be on the date stated below.

All races on that day count towards the championship.

Please note that our championship races will be on the same day as the A.C.U. Championship with the exception of Aberdare Park where our championship races will be on the last races on Saturday and Sunday


1).  Club Championship


This year there will be 2 overall championships in which you can compete. As usual there will be a closed to the club championship divided as last year into open and air-cooled sections. These championships will be run and administered by the club.

In addition, this year sees the return of the National A.C.U. Championship, a totally separate event wholly run and administered by the A.C.U.  split into  two sections for classic machines as in our club and Freetech machines. The classic section will conform to our club regulations and the Freetech section to the established Freetech group regulations.

2).  A.C.U. Championship

This years A.C.U. championships are based on the  results from the best 5 from the 6 championship rounds for each competitor. Prize monies have been allocated to the championship by the A.C.U. Details to be confirmed in due course.


There will be two distinct and separate classes, each with their own championship.

Those classes are:-

Classic

Open to any 2 or 4 stroke  50cc machine conforming to the 2017 Classic 50 Club rules.

Freetech

Open to 50cc machines conforming to the 2017 Freetech group rules.

In order to take part in this championship you MUST be a current, paid up member of the club. Points will only be scored in any race if you are a member BEFORE the start flag goes down. You can join at any point in the season but points will only be scored from your join date onwards, retrospective points scoring is disallowed.
